Denham Film Studios - HN1 Satin Gold Finish

Denham Film Studios was best known for recording film music, creating some of the most iconic scores including those used for Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Star Wars. It has since been redeveloped as luxury flats and houses. 

JC Flooring Contracts wanted a stair nosing with a premium finish that could be used in various different locations of this project. The product should be easily visible in a dimly lit Private Cinema, and also complement the rest of the décor on the corridors leading to luxury apartments & houses.  

Morleys attended site with our free measuring service. Our surveyor measured the steps to the millimetre, including 13 mitred steps for the Private Cinema, these steps were mitred and welded to shape during production to allow for a quicker, easier fitting experience. Satin Gold nosings were chosen to accompany the existing furnishings and add another touch of grandiosity to the  luxury residential development.   

Polar Grey (LRV 42.00) insert was used to create a striking contrast, most notably in the Private Cinema which was fitted with a dark grey carpet. The HN1 profile is intended for use with carpet so was the perfect profile for the job. The 5mm gauge allows for a flat transition from nosing to floorcovering minimising the chance of tripping.
